Blackboard Status
Blackboard is available daily except for any scheduled outage or interruptions.

Scheduled Maintenance
Monday – Thursday 1:00 am – 5:45 am: Although Blackboard is available to users, the system will be running maintenance tasks. During this time users may experience performance issues such as system slowness if working on Blackboard. Do not take test during the maintenance times as you may experience slowness that may affect timed tests.
Monday – Thursday 5:45 am – 6:00 am: Blackboard will be offline so that services may be re-started. Work will be lost if attempted prior to the restarting of services.
Friday 1:00 am – 6am: Blackboard will not be available so that we may backup the system.

Reason: Techs have identified emergency maintenance to correct performance issues experienced by users
05/09/2011 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Reason: Users have reported they are unable to access the Blackboard website.
07/25/2011 2:45 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.
Reason: Users have reported they are unable to access content within the Blackboard website. Server was re-booted to correct errors.
07/25/2011 6:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Reason: Users have reported they are unable to access content within the Blackboard website. Full system re-boot of Blackboard services is being done to resolve any outstanding issues.
08/15/2011 4:15 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Reason: One of Blackboard's servers needed to be re-started. Some currently on that server would have experienced the system going down.
08/19/2011 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Reason: District experienced outage system-wide related to network which also affected Blackboard access. All systems were restarted.
09/10/2011 8:40 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Reason: System has crashed giving an error to anyone going to the site. District experience outage to one of of the servers that affected multiple systems including Blackboard.
09/14/2011 7:00 a.m. - 9:15a.m.
Reason: Blackboard giving an error of "Service Unavailable" to anyone going to the site. One of the servers ran out of disk space causing system to crash. Disk space has been increased and system brought back online.
